One last Time / not OT

In mid-May, the father of a soon-to-be Groom called and asked if I knew where he could rent a vintage Studebaker for his son's wedding. The wedding date is June 24, 11AM, at St. Mary's, in Alexandria, Virginia. His son, the groom, would like to have two of our old Studes, drive him and the Bride to a park for pictures and back to the reception. He didn't indicate, but I'd suppose they would prefer (probably) a four door. He didn't make any preference for any model of car. He's willing to pay $300 PER car for a two hour duty time.

I see this as a great PR opportunity to the community and great outreach for a prospective, new Stude owner, especially since the SON was the one who requested it (and I guess his wife to be is going along with it.) If anyone is interested, or knows someone who can accomodate this request, contact the father at ( snipped-for-privacy@cox.net )

Thanks to all, Bob Johnstone Potomac Chapter

It doesn't always have to be a four door. I offered this young lady the choice of my 4 dr 36 Packard or the Hawk and, well you see what she chose!
