Nope, should be gold valve covers etc. But, I understand some early '55 models may not have that paint scheme..

SPEEDSTER-

Not questioning the valve cover color as much as the lack of center hold-down bolts, the late oil filter, the 2-barrel carb (I thot all speedsters had 4-barrel) and the flatter intake manifold. My feeling it's gotta be a much later engine than '55--or am I dreaming?

It's got the wrong seat upholstery doesn't it? Can we tell it it's a real speedster by the cowl tag?
