04 T4R Sport vs. 05 T4R SR5 - Help

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum, so sorry for the dumb question. I'm in the process of buying a T4R and I am presented with two options, and could use some input. Here the options:

1) 04 T4R Sport Edition with 19,000 miles - lease turn. This vehicle has a hood scoop tow package and standard Sport Edition. Bumper-to-Bumper warranty is up in June 1, 2007.

2) 05 T4R SR5 with 2000 miles (dealer vehicle). This vehicle does not have the hood scope but does have runner boards, tow package and is practically brand new. I was told that it has the same suspension and brakes as the sport (which I'm not sure is entirely true). Also has 17" wheels. Bumper-to-Bumper warranty is up in Jan. 1, 2008. It seems it?s an SR5 with upgrades.

Here is the dilemma, the 04 is approx. $2800 cheaper than the 05. If I were to purchase the 04 and buy extended warranty then it would only be a $1000 cheaper than the 05.

To me it obvious that the 05 T4R is somewhat the better deal (its practically brand new vs. 19,000 miles), however am I losing a lot of valuable options by going with the 05 SR5?

I have grown to like to hood scoop and the look to the Sport Edition, and I know the Sport has the X-REAS Sport Enhancement Suspension, bigger brake rotors, and any other upgrades it may have or the SR5. But I'm told that the SR5 and Sport are exactly the same mechanically, its just cosmetic differences (depending who you talk to)?

I also know that in 05 the T4R has a 5-speed transmission vs. 4 speed in 04.

Can anyone tell me if the 05 is really the better deal to go with, based on the price difference and options?

I am able to find out what the difference is between an 07 SR5 vs. 07 Sport but not 04 Sport vs. 05 SR5.

Thanks for the help.

I have an 03 SE with the X-REAS - which I think adds greatly to on road handling. The alloy wheels (styling) are different between the two. The SE should have come with running boards too - they are standard. Not sure if when the SR5 has the larger wheels its gets the larger brakes that the SE comes with or just the slmaller ones. Believe the seats (at least the fabric were different) on the SE. The SE usually came with added optional features like rear audio, sun roof and JBL radio/speaker system - although these were available on SR5 model too. I'm not a fan of the extended warrantees - waste of $ IMHO especially if they are charging you $1800 for it! What's a dealer vehicle? Used? Surely it still can be a left over or demo with the '07s here.
