The first Land Cruiser I saw was in 1969 or 70. The engine was a clone of a Chevrolet stove bolt six. Myfirst ride was in 74 commuting with someone from Acton to Cambridge on Route 2. He had to add an overdrive setup in order to get to sixty mph. It had zero insulation, no cushions on the seat. Conversation was impossible on the road. It had a nice engine though. Ron
