According to the right wing Christian wackos (the ones who ignore Jesus's teachings and concentrate on the Old Testament's idiotic mythology), natural disasters are God's way of punishing the wicked. He must hate the people in the South and Midwest. He really hates those Godless Chinese. I'm surprised he hasn't wiped them out long ago. God sure has a lot of killing and hate spreading to do. He better get moving, doesn't seem to make much sense wiping out a whole area just to get a few H*mo's while letting the rest of them survive? But It's all in his plan, which of course is too complicated for us to understand or question.
