1992 camry won't start

Nov 11, 2007 3 Replies

In the morning I started my car and drove for at least a mile. turn off car went to store, 5 minute later I tried to start the car again and it won't star. I wait about 15 minute and the car started with no problems. If iI drive the car for longer period of time I don't have the problem. I thing is a relay switch, not the starter.

take off the starter and have it tested and check your battery cables for corrosion. when it doesn't start, quickly hit the ignition with two quick jerks to see if it'll start. if it does it's the starter. but autozone test it for free.

I suggest you check the battery terminals *first*, and then maybe start removing and testing parts *second*.

If it turns over it could be the coil is wet.
