2007 Camry Station Wagon

Is there going to be one?

I'm still kicking myself for not buying the Wagon when I bought my Camry

4-door sedan back in 1993.

Hoping the 2007 model year will bring a wagon back....I'm going to get one this time.

Thanks for reading, Chuck

Mazda6 is probably your only choice in an import. Mazda5 is a really neat microvan.

The Honda Accord and BMW station wagons are nice too. Donth hold your breat on Yota - other than the Prius they aren't very with the latest trends or heaven forbid they lead. Case in point - crappy, over priced radios and NAV units! Dropping the 5 spd manual on 4wd vehicles like RAV4 and 4Runner. Unimaginative bland interiors with little storage. Unimpressive gas mileage.

What are you doing in this newsgroup if you hate them so much?

Hmm.. quite the list of auto experiences!! However, of all the vehicles I've had, since I started driving 43 years ago, my current vehicle. a 99 Camry CE V6 is by far the best. VERY dependable. Reasonable on fuel, given the V6 and my heavy foot, and rides like a dream. Quietest interior I've ever experienced.

I've had vehicles that were more powerful but rusted out all too soon. Ditto, for vehicles that were more economical. All in all, it was the BEST choice I've ever made..in cars. I full intend to eventually replace it with ANOTHER Camry V6, maybe in a more luxurious model.

I think the Camry gets critisism like 'bland', boring etc because it does what its supposed to do with little drama, and a lot of older drivers buy them. Thing is, even the 4 cyl if allowed to operate above 3300 rpm will impress you with its response.

The manual '96 I have actually loses grip if accelerating thru to 5000 if the road has ripples in its surface. An 18 sec ETs not bad for a 2.2litre 'family' sedan' which seats 5 easily.
