I just purchased a 2001 4runner limited. I purchased at a Toyota dealer and it only came with one remote. I bought additional remotes off ebay but can't seem to program using these instructions. I know these are for a lexus but they are the same everywhere on the web.

I get to the part where the locks go up and down and I need to press both lock and unlock to program. Nothing happends after I press the buttons and then the lock or unlock button afterwards. Any ideas?I did notice that I have a security status LED in the dash and was offered an alarm at the time of purchase. I'm guessing most of the alarm is still in the car if not a complete alarm.
Where would I look for the magic green LED to press to program the remotes if the process above doesn't work? I did look under the drivers seat and there is nothing there.
Any hint you can give me would be appreciated.
