Not sure, but I think asl long as there has been Ramva? Before that there was just one general VW newsgroup, water and air all mixed up. Then they were split and we got rid of all the dead weight ;)
I am. Both :D

"Fishnet shirt.." Why do I think of the Oslo band "Stff nipples" reading that?

You are a very, very lucky man! Rule #1: No limbs(sp?) outside the car at any time!! And: When holding the steering wheel, keep your thumbs outside the inside(get it?).
Cool story, waiting for the update to your page.

Yes, I get it about the thumbs on the outside. I learned that while backing down the side of a mountain in the LCB with the chain-link steering wheel. Front tire hit a stump and the wheel turned really fast. OUCH!!!!!!!!! About broke my freakin' thumb off. I realize I'm lucky about the Jeep not turning over, but I'm glad that in this case I did what I did. If I hadn't put my legs out then the Jeep would absolutely have rolled over and I'm sure it would have totalled it out. I know...I know... "Your legs/life are more important than...." I'm just lucky I ate a "good" breakfast that day to give me plenty of energy. Takes a lot of good food to unleash the STRENGTH OF KONG!!! ;-) I'll probably update the web page tomorrow.

yep...keep the thumbs out of the inner circle...that was the first bit of advise i was given when i started circle track racing....found out why the first time i slammed the outside wall at about
100mph...ouch...sidenote...saw a cool ass jeep today(wrangler, but set up *right*) on the rear it had a double tube bumper...it was about eye height as i sat behind it at a light...i notices words on the upper tube...it was written upside down...it said" if you can read this please roll me back over"....i just had to laugh and i thought of you shag...LOL J
Dang it, I was just going to mention that. Or did he ?

Well, I'm glad, you did not roll it. But, this sticking your legs out=20 stunt worries me a bit. Sounds very dangerous. If it had rolled,=20 you could be having less working legs right now. Get proper
4-point seat belts and keep your organs inside the roll cage at all times.MotorsForum website is not affiliated with any of the manufacturers or service providers discussed here. All logos and trade names are the property of their respective owners.
