Keyword advice

I am doing a Google adword campaign for my company and would like some advice from some certified car nuts. Since I have been on and off of RAMVA for years, I thought I would ask here.



We have built web-based software to track the maintenance you do on your car and set up your own service reminders so you will be notified when you need to change your oil, check brakes, adjust points etc. Seemed to make sense since our vw's don't come with On*star...



If you were looking for software that does this - what would you type into a search engine?



I have linked my ad to "Vehicle tracking", and "maintenance tracking", but most of the people browsing for these keywords are looking for GPSs and I am ending up spending money for hits from people who aren't looking for this type of software.



What would you look for?

Umm.. how about maintenance (or service)reminder or timer? Or calendar?

A Maintenance LOG would indicate something that would already have been done

BTW I worked for google, testing & evaluating their search engine in a project that tries to improve the quality of search results.. I'm still listed, just on leave.

Here's an idea and you can have it for free. If your maintenance scheduler could interface with Microsoft Outlook it could put reminders in the built in calendar for you (i.e. Monday March 10th, Time to change the oil in the VW). Not a huge fan of Outlook but I do use it at work and make extensive use of the calendar. Lots of people use the calendar to plan and schedule their week.

Also, your program could send email reminders at specified intervals to a the user's email account. In fact, you could even set this up as a web service where the user entered his auto and mileage on your website. Your website would fire off the email at the appropriate interval. You could probably sell advertising space in that email, i.e. when the time to change the oil rolled around Exxon Mobile might pay you X cents per email to include a little ad for Mobile 1.

Haven't looked into your product so you may already have thought of these features.
