Pierburg 34 PICT 30 Carb

Does anyone know of a source for a manual, or any tuning/setting information for a Pierburg 34 PICT 30 caburetor?

Look for carb adjustment. Your adjustment should be the same as the one listed for 34 Pict-3, 30 Pict-3, and H30/31.

Its not too hard just make sure the engine is warmed up good, and that your valves are properly adjusted and timing is set correctly.

Good luck!

Thanks very much. I'll use this reference. I'm just having a hard time getting everything adjusted properly.

Well give those a try. I have found them to be very good in adjusting them. Also, in addition to correctly adjusted valves and timing, be sure that your manifold boots are in good shape and fit well (I'm assuming you have a dual port since you are using a 34pict3).

If you have any problems, just drop a note to the group and help will be on the way!
