Dear Scott,
Thank you for the offer but I use DeltaCAD. To get it to speak to TurboCAD I have to output the native .dc files in .dxf format. Unfortunately when DeltaCAD's .dxf is input to other systems, font, dimensions, line thickness and most DeltaCAD-specific symbols are lost or corrupted, resulting in a drawing of little value.
Fortunately, DeltaCAD offers a free (time crippled) copy of their software allowing anyone having a sincere interest to print the original .dc - format drawings, which I've made available on a couple of Yahoo Groups.
The purpose of my original message was to respond to a number of anonymous comments sent to my blog by folks who didn't realize that references made in some of the previously published articles, which I've reposted to the blog, were with regard to the original article as it appeared in a magazine. That is, 'See 'Tools You Can Make' is referring to another MAGAZINE article rather than something in the blog.
Old news (ie, 2001 for the VW articles; even earlier for the electronics, ham radio & computer stuff) but this weekend produced a couple more queries so I guess some folks are still discovering the articles.
