Speaking of dash switches...

Suddenly, I had need of a proper tool to remove those slotted switch nuts. This is what happened:

I have the Snap On tool for them. I originally bought it for BSA and Triumph clutch nuts but these days I use it to tighten the nuts on Weaver type rifle scope mounts. Maybe one of these days I'll use it on my bug...

a cheap 7/16 " socket works great for this, and you can use a 1/4 ratchet or screw driver handle for the handle,.

Looks nice. I would develop it a bit by grinding the sharp end of the nail round. Not nice to scratch the back or your hand everytime you go through the tool box.
