2004 Volvo S40

I own a 2004 Volvo S40 with 56K miles. My car makes a whining noise when I make sharp corners. I believe it is the power steering system. I checked the power steering resevor and it appears low. The manual says to use ATF oil. When i went to the auto store they had many varieties of ATF to choose from. Does anyone know which type of ATF should be used for a 2004 Volvo S40 (older body style)?

The regualar fluid is any dextron III, I worked at the local Valvoline Instant Oil Change, and we used Clear Prestone Power Steering Fluid. The shop forman at the local dealership told me that I could suck the fluid out with a syringe, then add new fluid. Raise the front wheels, (or go for a drive) and turn the wheels right to left stop. Then repeat the procedure. I use that High Dollar Mobil 1 ATF since it seems to work good.
