Volvo 440 front door speakers seem to be 5" dia. Any ideas on a good sounding/price piece of kit to replace them please?

Go to a stereo shop and listen to the display models, Bring a tape or CD of the music you like. Play with bass and treble and adjust the sound to your liking. Play with the volume to see how the speakers sound at high volume - they should adequately handle the power of the system you are currently using. [Check the rating]. Check speaker depth front-to-back to be sure they will fit the holes you have now. Wire em in and enjoy!
