Can anybody share their experiences with car seats in the F150? We had been assuming that a car seat wouldn't fit but when we install it in the rear bench it fits perfectly between the two front seats when they are slid back. However, the base of the car seat sticks out over the rear bench. We will probably have it checked by professionals, but I was wondering how other parents worked with the F150 (specifically with infant seats).

Alvin in AZ (rec.knives guy here) ps- I think it really sucks kids don't get to ride in the front seat and watch what's going on with the traffic... you know we had to have picked up a lot of information about driving by watching since infancy right? Wrong? pps- I'll never be any good at riding a horse, didn't start til I was ~24 or so the kids that grew up on them don't understand that ppps- where as;) dirt bike motorcycles were second nature for me!
