89 YJ fender replacement

My 89 YJ has got a dent in the driver's side fender, right behind the wheel. The hood and door are undamaged. The dent came with the Jeep, the Jeep also came with a new fender and flare. How hard is it to swap the fenders? What engine components are mounted to the fender?

Bill- Will I need to align the fender, or will it simply be a bolt and go?
