The gap hasn't changed since they first produced the 4.0L. :]
The gap is actually printed on the box, and in the book the guy uses to look up the right plugs.
Thanks gents, Appreciate the help. It's about time to change them, and Im putting on new wires and distrib. cap as well. I got some bad gasoline awhile back and she ran like crap for a couple of days. Then it seemed to clear up a bit, with just some sputtering now and then. I figured the plugs may have been fouled. The other day, I was coming home and she was running fine, then all of a sudden at about 60mph, I got a sort of backfire and then lost all power. She kept running, didn't stall, but went strait to a burbbly idle and basically engine braked me to a stop. I sat there for a few minutes, and then it cleared up and went on fine. I'm praying that the plugs will fix this, and that the injectors didn't get damaged from the bad gas!! I've put 2 bottles of injector cleaner in since the first episode. Wish me luck.
Thanks again, Kelly
Like I said.... I'm pretty sure Jeff is right! :)
