AFAIK the Lucas part nos change every time an alteration or modification is added to parts, hence the differing nos above even though they are all probably suitable for the same application. There are different drive gears on the bottom of the shaft which engages with the oil pump and it's a simple job to change these, they are only held with a cross drilled roll pin.
I still have two distributor bodies, complete with good shafts, bushing and bobweights, both marked 35D8. One is 41393B, also stamped 2673 which means it was made in the 26th week of 1973 and the other is 41873A, also stamped
1583, date of manufacture 15th week of 1983 and this one is fitted with Lumenition as well being in good condition (no rotor arm or cap).I offered you these on the 20/11/06 and they are still available.
