1990 range rover classic seats

Hello folks I've just bought a 1990 vogue efi 3.9 classic range rover and am impressed big style (my first footsteps into adopting a range rover) However i want to change the front drivers seat...i find the one fitted a pain in the behind..literally. I'm not interested in authenticity my only requirement is leather and comfort

so to my question could any of you knowledgable people out there give a newbie some pointers as to which makes of vehicles have suitable seats for replacement with a minimum of work. I've seen several references to volvo seats but am unsure of which models and amount of work involved.

thanks mag

magumba uttered summat worrerz funny about:

H'mmm seem's you've missed a trick, you're supposed to start with an old Series II Landie, become smitten and then move on to a Classic Rangie where you are woo'ed by the creature comforts.

Volvo stuff I imagine is in the main used in series landies, fitting in a RRC is going to be a headache.

If the springs have gone which is your problem then con a ride in the likes of a ES Disco fitted with leather seats, they should fit but they do have Electic adjusters, dunno what yours has but if it's owt like my last RRC Vogue TD then it's a manual slider.
