Competition - It's just too hard!

Thanks! I'd love them! I've waited 15 years, so another few months wont hurt!. Should give me some time to get the 101 ready for them! :)

If you give me a yell when youve found them, I'll work out how to get em off you, and then will swap you for something alcoholic!.

My parents love it when i take stuff away from theirs too!. I've still got a car to remove from my their garage.. I think theres going to be a big party when i finally get that out... :)

Have a video camera on the other side and project that on to the nearside. Saw a TV prog where they tried to make a car invisible like that.

Didn't work, you could see their feet in a Flintstones kind of way :)

Last company I worked for had a 101 radio body fitted out for on site briefings, had a rear projector screen, bose speakers let into the side and covered by hatches when on the road..

They still use it as far as I know, might have a pic if anyone os interested

Regards

What company is this???

Are you sure it was a Radio Body? I'd have thought an Ambi body would have been better for a rear projection screen.

I would. Can I also ask for any contact details you may have so I can send them details of the 101 Club :-)

Sent you a mail with the pictures, I'm just finding out who is now responsible for it.

I also have first refusal on it when it disposed of.

I'll probably be going down in March, so can let you have them at Marque Day if you're going this year?

Please do feel free to drop constant reminders. You know what I'm like, memory like a Microsoft machine and all that...

Spoke to it's minder today. She says it's away having a new paint job and some new screens and stuff fitted. I have got a picture of it in use but's it not that good, I will get a good one and pass it to Martyn to add to the site.

They start on Phase 2 in May this year when it will be off to broadcasting the Health and Safety message till the end of 2006 then it will be sold. It's based at Stratford in East London.

If they sell it as cheap as the 90/110's they were getting rid of at the end of Phase 1 it will on my drive as soon as they are finished with it.

Can you suggest to her that joining the 101 Club is a good idea - if only to help source some otherwise hard to obtain spare parts?

Oh yes please! I'd also be rather interested to know the chassis number which can usually be found on the VIN plate in the passenger footwell. I know this may not be immediately possible to get :-)
