Defender High Range

I have just bought a 1995 Defender 300TDi. While driving it the other day it jumped out of high range whilst I was on a freeway offramp with my foot off the accelerator. Only time it has done it so far. Should I be worried or is it possible I had not engaged high range properly a few days before whilst I was testing it?

I'd see if it does it again. On my Disco it once jumped out of Low in a similar situation, but I think it's because it was never quite "in" and it's not even thought about it since.
