OT (totally) Multi screen TV

Firstly my apologies for being totally OT but I figure if anybody will know it's you guys and galls

Right you've all seen the video walls in HMV Dixons etc using 9 TVs/monitors what I want to know is can it be done with two TVs one above the other? if so how?

I want it for multiplayer games on an Xbox/PS2 or would it be cheaper to get another console?

Apologies again for being OT

Is so that you can have player one on TV1 and player 2 on TV2?

Well I don't know anything about Xbox as we only have a Psone, but I should imagine that having two TV's isn't going to solve the problem of the split screen. Yo I did find a website once which had the details on how to repair the playstation when ours stopped spinning - I think I saved the details and it had forum for asking questions such as these. I'll have a look for the details and let you know what it is.

You CAN do it on a PC, but I don't think, unless you seriously hack the Xbox (and you can now run Linux on an Xbox. Yay !) you can get dual-head support on it.

You can do it but it would be quite expensive. You would need a video processor from a specialist company.

Probably the easiest way to do it would be with a PC.

You would need a TV card and two video cards (or a single dual head card) and two PC monitors.

Feed the video from the console into the TV tuner card (preferably via line in), then you can expand your desktop onto the two PC monitors

You would have to check your TV tuner card can display the TV picture across both displays though, as some cannot. You would also have to have an operating system capable of supporting multiple displays (Win 98 onwards)
