Scratchings is deep fried skin not rendered down fat.

Quite, doesn't make a blind bit of difference how many times I re-read stuff if a is missed out I'll very rarely spot it. I think every one reads what they think they wrote. It takes a conscious effort to read what is actually written.
Often a reader, CF an awthor, will read what they want to see rather than what's there.
Yep, that's the trap I fell into.
