Yes, I heard Warren swearing earlier. I was still in the office at the time... :-)

I had a look at what was once your rear crossmember the other day too. Did you say it needed a 'little' welding???

Still, it's looking good - saw it in the (sort of) sunshine today and the paint job _really_ takes on its own - unlike when you dropped it off, when it was raining, but then again, nothing looks good in the rain I guess...

Martyn

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys but.............................. If a paint job doesn't look good in the rain it'll never look good :-(

If you've not got one Tim. Invest in a good quality polishing mop but make sure there's plenty of laquer and that you don't get to the metallic.

Ed PS Farecla products are about the best for this job IMHO.

PASSED!

Thanks to Warren, and to a few prayers...

Quite dangerous?

No facility for looking backwards, yep, dangerous Crumbly rear cross-member, yep, dangerous Front brakes locked on, yep, dangerous Front lights all over the place, yep, dangerous

I think trailering it in was a Good Decision.

I haven't had a deep post-mortem with Warren yet - I spoke to him this morning, but he still had his head in a Range Rover so there was no detail.

The real good news is the price - I may be a fairly seasoned negotiator, but when Mrs Warren told me the price I couldn't help blurting out "Oh, I thought it might be twice that"....

Just a bit of paint and woodwork to do now then....
