How can anyone say with accuracy ? SWB, LWB, Lightweight, Station Wagon, Truck body, Soft-top, other mods ????

I'd guess it would also depend on what engine was originally fitted too ... and what the Dai - spit - hatsu engine weighs ...

Sounds to me like you're worrying about the "85% of kerb weight" lie that the Caravan Club keep touting.

Unless you passed your test after 01/01/1997, of course, in which case you're stuffed :-(

i passed my test way back, you know,

when men were men and women were...........

1984 i think.

just wonderd wether i fell into the 85 % thing.

but seen as i cant go faster than 45 with the van on i guess it doesnt realy matter, well it hasnt matterd yet and ive been pulling a 21 foot caravan every month, thru derbyshire with my trusty blue and yellow series.

isnt it funny, i must be the luckiest guy around, cos every time i go camping, towing my van, i always, but always pick days when theres never any traffic ahead of us,

5.00 pm and the road ahead is clear for miles and miles. odd , dont you think.

It's funny, but it's the same when I'm out in my Unimog, even in the slow lane of the M4 - there's never anyone else there.

It must just be one of those things.

There were some good women around then.

Most years there are.

But how many of them want to get down and dirty, under a Land Rover with a spanner?
