Hi, Can anyone tell me where the ECU unit is for a 1.7td (Isuzu engine) astra (1996).

No ECU on this motor.

The only ECU you are likely to have is an immobiliser ECU on the back of the injection pump, and another round the ignition key barrel on the steering column. This is if the vehicle has a transponder immobiliser, of course.
