Where is the Dim Dip module located on the G reg Vauxhall Astra ?
A mate of mine's is showing the classis symtoms of a blown power tranny (i.e. lights staying on all the time) !, and it needs ripping out !!!!

On a Cavalier of the same vintage, it's right underneath the light switch - I don't recall exactly how I got at it. Either a piece of removable trim or up past the internal fusebox. (All to the right of the wheel.)
Mine was also scaldingly hot when I disabled it, which was more than a little disturbing considering its location.
AFAIK its behind the center console below the radio.
