Rover 600 headlight bulb

Dec 14, 2005 3 Replies

Hi

One of the bulbs in my 98 Rover 600 is out. I have had a quick look at the back of the unit , but there is no room betwween it and the battery.(well an inch tops)

Is this a battery out job. O am I missing something simpler. If i take the battery out , will I have any issues with the immoboliser?

Thanks

brian

No. It can be done without taking the battery out but it's a tight squeeze.

new bulb , still dead. Tried a third bulb still dead. IS there a fuse. Its the driver sid emain beam thats dead

All sorted now. The main light connection block thingy had a corroded pin in it. All cleane dup and resealed and siliconed
