I run TomTom 5 on my Nokia N70 with a bluetooth GPS receiver.

We can't get Telewest around these parts. I'd love to kick Sky into touch 'cos their HDTV Plus box is stupidly expensive not only to buy, but also a tenner a month on top of the top-line subscription.

PDAs use a stylus on the screen. You _can_ use you fingers, if you are accurate enough, but you do not have to touch the screen. Get a PDA stylus.

Have you ever considered living somewhere less cut-off from the world? :p

There are new models coming out (the 510 and 910 - worth looking at for those wanting more cutting edge stuff) but for those who just want a simple device, the GO 300 and 700 are still good devices. Also, they'll have software updates available, so if people want to take advantage of some of the newer features which will be available to them, they'd have access...

Hmm. GPS has been around for a very long time. WinCE machines have also been out for a few years. I really wouldn't expect any teething problems by now.
