Bad form, but don't even think about it.

They're horribly thirsty.

Great cars, but not for you.

A Diesel Impreza? Didn't think they made one, thirsty or otherwise.

Oh, right.

Obviously a typo.

Didn't look, 'cos the description was right.

Yeah, says its Diesel, but I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a diesel boxer in an Impreza yet. I read somewhere that they're working on it.

The "Sport" versions of Imprezas are pretty vile, they have some of the Turbocharged ones' looks but don't have the redeeming feature of being entertainingly fast IIRC. There used to be one in Aberdeen which had been STi'd with gold wheels and such but still had giveaway (purple) rear drums.

YMMV etc.

Yes. Subaru are working on a diesel but have never released one.

The naturally aspirated Subarus are great cars if you need the go-anywhere abilities. Decent handling, nice noises, but thirsty as SteveH points out. "Can be expensive to fix" is also an understatement.

There was also a 1.6 but not as a Sport model.

Ventilation is woefully inadequate even with air conditioning.

They didn't make a diesel anything until the last couple of months.
