Ha! Its all very complicated. I am being sponsered by the RN to go thru uni (hence training after uni), and my old commanding officer was into racing Formula 750 so I did that last year, and this year I cant afford the race entry fees or the time so have put it all on hold! I tried out for the uni karting team but was 9th i think out of about 60 but they only have 8 on the team, arse!

So maybe next year, would like to do the road rallies but really dont wanna f*ck my car! Quite a nice example, so would have to find another car if I was to do that...

Certainly looks clean and tidy enough.

How much? - I wouldn't have expect to pay much more than £150 on a Classic policy from Carole Nash for that.

It's from Carole Nash... but it's also Liverpool...

You'll only f*ck your car if you go too fast!!! If you have a decent nav then you can pootle around, have a laugh and still be high up in the results. What car have you got BTW?

MkII XR2, not a scratch on it and I wanna keep it that way! :P Would consider doing a rally, or at least bumming a lift around on one first! Would prob be next academic year, unless im around over the summer (navy placement bollox!) and it still runs then.. who knows!

PS nice day for a drive, im off for a blast!

No events over the summer because of the light evenings and lack of students. Events start up again in October. Pop along to one of the intro meetings (or go to the bunfight) and say hello!

Have fun!

Good advice might be, go along, find out what you need to do to navigate and give that ago.

Find out what crap you get from a driver, and what your responsibilities might be.

Then when you get round to the driving side, you know what the Navi is going through, having been there.

sounds good. will have a look next year, see what is going on. sorry about no capitals or exclamation marks, just knobbered up my right little finger throwing an american footie around, and im feeling too lazy to use any other fingers, or the other shift key..... hehehehe

Driving is much easier. You're told what to do, and you do it. On the few occasions i've swapped seats i've very much regretted it (mostly due to be very ill!). Although driving normally works out to be more expensive as you have a car to prep/fix :(

Exactley. You get to know all the crap, but also you get the round bought for you at the end.
