E30 gone..

Bugger. Advertised it last night at silly o'clock and first thing this morning an E30 breaker was on the phone "I'll have it".

This means I now own more diesels than petrols.

Anyone want to buy a cheap Escort van?

This is where I pipe up and say that the Activa might be for sale some time soon-ish. Plan was to get it MOTd (been sitting since it ran out in December, and bar the centre exhaust being bolloxed thanks to a not-fully-alert impatient me moving it from a parking space in Wokingham car park right near the speed bump at the exit late on a Sunday morning, it shouldn't take much to get it through), run about in it for a few months while I get the Golf up to scratch, then sell it and use the Golf, but it's got to the stage that I'm sick of a) using the van as a commuter hack as well as a work tool, b) consistently not having the inclination to actually do any work to the Golf, and c) having an un-MOTd mini-fleet scattered across Berkshire, and I'm tempted to just chuck the Golf at a garage, cough up for someone else to do all the work it wants doing, MOT the Xant, flog that, and be a bit lighter of pocket in the short term, but much more of sound mind in the longer term.

I'm sure I'll mention when I have actually done anything towards correcting the fleet scattered across Berkshire bit, and will say when it's actually free of all my music gear/fast food wrappers and ready for someone else to actually buy the thing, though......

This is where I pipe up and wonder how much a reliable LPG conversion would be on a V12 and would Alison spot the difference and could I live with another green car?

Nah, I like the IS even if it is tiny.
