In news:3s5vd.877$ snipped-for-privacy@newsfe2-gui.ntli.net, Rachel decided to enlighten our sheltered souls with a rant as follows

aye, I can't believe he's selling the Nova that's faster than Schumachers Ferrari either...

E-bay it.

wouldnt say it's worth what your asking in the state it's in either.

What state? You havn't seen it! They go on ebay all the time for £1k-1.5k with a standard engine and interior. Simply because they do 0-60 in somthing stupid like 6.5 sec with 150 bhp.

do you not read thread?

so it's starting to rot (nothing unusual) and it needs a respray.

Dont need to see it to say I dont think it's worth the money.

so it's starting to rot (nothing unusual) and it needs a respray and needs an alarm with remote central locking.

Dont need to see it to say I dont think it's worth the money.

No, but the owner himself described it as rusty and half primer and fillered....

I think we can assume its not concourse.

*cough* you didn't hear this from me dan, but all nova's rot there eventually *cough* lol, I don't know why I jumped up to defend the car then, I havn't even seen pic's of it!

Eventually? All Nova's started rotting there within 5 years of leaving the Vauxhall garages.

As long as that?

It's one of Rob's 'projects' therefore it'll be 1/2 finished, or maybe not even started ;-)

i thought rust was an extra vauxhall made standard on all cars?

Didn't a load of a Cavaliers get to the showrooms rusty because they'd spent

6 months sat on empty runways etc due to oversupply? Seriously? They rusted the arches and stuff in that short time.

months sat on empty

in that short time.

think your right there, remember reading something bout that my cav was in nice condition, was 10 years old at the time i had it but had rust along the top of the windscreen where some muppet had scratch along the paint when replacing it :(

just needs the rebuilt xe refitted and the back arches replaced along with a coat of paint

the xr4i idea looks like a no go atm due to them being silly money for a decent un

looks like i'll be putting some carbs on the nova in the new year and keeping her for another year of trackday action :)
