i knew starions were rare but this is silly!

guy on imoc has a mitsi starion and i almost got one of these when i was looking at MK1 MR2's well over a year and a half ago! there was one for sale nearby to me and was in VERY good condition. when i looked at them though there were loads and i knew they were kinda rare but looked on auto trader and there is 1 for sale 1! in a national search! and ebays has only 1 for sale too!

shame really as i love the starion i think it looks great but then i do have a soft spot for old and new jap crap :)

Slightly changing the subject, I saw a very tidy Mk1 MR2 today, in that dark metallic blue they did them in (same as my last one), and it was sitting on a nice set of very dark graphite alloys.

Made I want one again, it did!

Pah! That's not rare, it's only a rare car if you get zero results on ebay and 'trader.....

it is rare, if i got no results that would be very rare :)

brings a tear to my eye every time someone mentions a MK1, i love the mica blue! always wanted a supercharger in mica blue, maybe in a few years if i have money to throw away on rubbish i'll seek a mica blue supercharger out! :)

I'd be happy with the common or garden one, with the T bar.

At least I would be, if I could find a rot free one at a sensible price.

I was hoping to pull out a zero resulter, but my first choice got one 'hit' on ebay.

But my 2nd choice hit the jackpot.

Alfasud Sprint.

None available either on Ebay or 'trader.

Only, I don't think they're that rare.

They don't even offer 'Arna' as a search option on Autotrader on the model drop down, if you're looking at Alfas...

Heh, I was lulled into a false sense of security on that one last time I tried it.

If you select 'any model' and use 'Arna' as a keyword, then you sometimes find them.

They all would of rusted into a small pile of orange flakes by now.

If you can track down a couple with the right sources, but nobody's willing to sell one, then that's very rare. friend of mine bought a starion about 5 years ago and used to thrash the hell out of it. he loved those 80s turbo jap cars. boy did it go. they were cheap as then, well in new zealand anyway. he got it for about £500 in very good nick.
