He is seriously taking the piss.
Even with everything done to it, it is worth about £6-800 max for that year. If it was a Felicia (essentially the same car) hatch it would be worth about £12-1500. The mileage would be lower too.
And that Exhaust just looks absolutley stupid.
it might have worked on a stripped and stickered rally rep Favorit hatch along with the seats, but not on an Estate.
Estates like skodas are for hauling your crap around, estates like Volvos and Carltons can get made in to monster ICE machines and work.
