I despise Astras. All of them. Every one ever built.

The same bloke's got an ex motability K reg Renault Safrane 2 litre auto, genuine 75k, needs just a rear exhaust (I think) for the MOT (well, that's all that's glaringly obvious) for very cheap. Not my sort of thing though.

Heh, ok.. you know what I mean. The SD1 is a proper Rover. The HondaRovers are the ones I hate. Basically anything and everything after the SD1 is s**te.

I may be way off the mark here, but I wouldn't touch anything he was selling with a bargepole.

The Beemer you're selling for your mate would most likely get tarted up and passed off as something with half that mileage on it.....

Yep, when I was looking there were loads of 145 cloverleafs in budget, and plenty of manual VTEC Preludes.

Then when I wanted to buy, Cloverleafs disappeared completly, and the Preludes all became Autos or 2.3's or both.

Then when I set my heart on a Prelude the Clovers started to show again, and now I've bought the Celica, I bet there is a whole bunch of Manual Import VTEC Preludes.

Isn't that just an excuse to put a proper engine in it?

Something like the Sierra DOHC unit running on Webers?
