I appreciate all that.

But - they look like a set of four turds.

Kerbing isn't an issue unless you can't drive.

Get some nice 15s on there, and you can run even wider 195-width tyres. Choose your wheels carefully (Oz Superleggera etc.) and you don't need to gain much (if any) weight.

Do it !

Of course :)

Well want some nice wheels, damnit :)

Can I just butt in here and say I've always thought those style alloys are actually ok looking, for what they are.

Though they do look a bit out of date on a 2001 model Ka. Maybe a good idea would be to get a set of those 3-spoke (ish) Ka alloys - hard to describe, but maybe someone here (Dervy?) knows what I'm on about and could post a link. 'cos I've always thought those wheels make a Ka look quite cool.

It's not just me that drives him! :)

Kas with 195/45s on a 15" rim tend to misbehave in wet weather :-/ and they lost much of their composure. It's too low a profile really. Great grip, less composure and much less warning when they let go .

Not yet.

Nah. I'll probably, eventually, get some better looking 13s or maybe 14s, but for the time being they're staying.

The Ford ones that spell Ka? Aye but they're 5J 14", so I'd be back with

165/60s.

The look has grown on me, that's for sure!
