My first thought was Citroen Mehari, but it's not one of those so I dunno.
I forgot about them. IIRC there was a lunatic with an UMM dealership somewhere near here in the '70s. I'd understand someone flogging 'em in the more rural parts of Wales or Cheshire, but Liverpool? FFS.

Aww, got to this one too late.
It looks like an UMM to me. Some sort of Portuguese military type vehicle. Probably with a Peugeot diesel engine. I have driven one. It was uncomfortable and very slow. Bits of it are made of Plastic. I never really tried its offroad capabilities.
It's a UMM Alter.
