Ouch. He nearly missed that too. I bet it was in quite a state... Amazing the camera stayed in one bit!
Why does it just let go like that? Is that extreme lift off oversteer..?
Aquaplaining by the looks of it.
...and stuffing the nose in with *no* finesse.

Well, he doesn't lift off until the skid has begun, and it looks like a good response to the skid except that the car doesn't respond at all.
Unlike the previous corner where he loses it and gets it back instinctively.
I reckon it is oil, or something. All four wheels seem to lose all grip until the smack is inevitable.
I was at Brands hatch a few years ago and the same happened there, it rained people didnt slow down enough on the corners and loads went off.
No damage or anything, but it was amusing!
