I ordered a new Mustang today :-)

Aww well heck, you missed the shows, BUT the good thing is now you are home to play again.

The whole thing with the old guys, I am a mid 40's gal m'salf and they still give me the ewwwies sometimes.

This old guy was wearing knee high dress socks, penny loafers, shorts and a too tight to fit over his pot gut Mustang T-Shirt. So, I just considered the source. This sure is Mustang country. I see a dozen of them every time I go into town. "Queen City" ???!!! First I would be sure that their colors arent a rainbow, if you know what I mean. Unless you're into that sort of thing that is LOL. There aren't allot of ricers in my immediate area, but a few. I don't miss them much but just every now and then you see one that someone has really put some quality work into and it's definitely worth looking over. These kids have good imaginations.

Maybe one of these days maybe we will pass on the road and we can wave at each other :)

Hey again, sorry for the belated reply. I left for Myrtle Beach last Wednesday and just got back today. Went to Myrtle Madness 7 (all Ford Probe/MX6 car show) and was impressed with what I saw. Yes, these kids do have great imaginations, no doubt. The vacation really improved after my dealer buddy called me on Friday while I was at Myrtle to tell me that my '05 would be in on 11-20! Oh happy days!!!!

Ah yes, 'home again' indeed. First car was a '66 notch w/ a straight 6. Since then, have had a 68,79,83,84,88,89,89(convt), & a 93. Haven't had one in several years now (because, I somehow thought I was too old at 39 to have such a car), but the '05 is too awesome to resist. Mustangs are very popular here as well, mostly due to the huge military population in Clarksville.

I agree that "Queen City" isn't the most desirable name for a car club. The 'alternative lifestyle' is the first thing that came to mind for me as well, LOL! Come to think of it, our city is actually nicknamed "Queen City" and the theme song was "Last Train To Clarksville" (see post above). God help us... :/

I plan to put a few miles on the 'Stang, so I might end up in your area at some point. I'll be on the lookout for a fine Cobra convt and give you a huge wave when we pass :)
