Stereo 4030 says security - cannot purt code in

Hi - I put this stereo in a Vauxhall Astra and it worked OK for a while

- after the battery went flat for a long time now the stereo just says 'security' and wont let me put the code in and doesn't work. This is the radio cassette player.
