Does anyone know whether the pre -95, 200 series (214, 216, 220) used the same manual box for every engine size or did they have different ratios for the larger engines? Also would it be physically possibly (and worthwhile) to put a 220 gearbox on a 214 engine, if the 220 box has different ratios.

the 220s have a honda box and the 216 the box and engine are the opposite way round so none are interchangeable on a 214 Peter
and yes the ratio's are different on all 3 (particularly the 2.0
worthwhile)
