1. Turn on the Radio.

1. Enter the 4 digit code using the quick selection buttons. Then hold the BAND button depressed for more than 3 secs until the display clears.

If whilst entering 4 digits you enter a wrong digit you must continue until you enter 4 digits.

If you enter the wrong code 3 times you must wait for at least 30 minutes with the unit switched ON.

It turned out to be simpler. I just entered the 5 digit code. After the

5'th digit the radio activated itself, I didn't have to press anything. Perhaps this depends on MY; Saab is 1993.

Mine is 97. I never thought of the year :-(
