Has anyone who has an E-bay acccount been getting pamphlets in the mail pushing E-bay? I find this worng as it tells people in the USPS that I have an E-bay account
This morning I logged on and in my IE I had a banner 9805 Cars For sale in Valhalla area.
How is E-bay using data on me to tailor Banner Ads based on my buying habits? I thought there was a Privacy issue statement. Now I see they are tracking my buying and selling and then placing banners on my browser.
1984Lots of companies track what you are doing and buying. Those discount cards at the supermarkets allow them to track everything you buy Your cable provider knows where you surf. what you watch on TV and maybe who you call on your phone--
Don't forget spyware, make sure you you have a program to seek out and destroy it, that's a key way they know what you do....Lou
Spyware is good against hackers and other evil people. It is useless against your cable provider or the government.
