Maybe he meant a flappy paddle box then? But they'd be on both sides...

None that have any relevance what so ever to the oil change frequency, you pathetic excuse for a bullshit artist.

Never ever could bullshit its way out of a wet paper bag.

Nothing has changed with car engines over that time that has any relevance whatever to oil change frequency.

The only significant change is that its not computer controlled and that makes no difference to the behaviour of the oil.

Oh bullshit. The main cause of failure is still failure of the cooling system.

Have fun explaining the two who have actually tried going decades between oil changes and have had no effect on engine failure at all.

There's plenty more who havent read this thread too.

Is your car driven by an elderly relative who has smoked 40 a day for the last 70 years, thus proving that cigarettes are healthy?

You dont in fact see very many at all report a sudden engine failure due to a lack of oil changes, stupid.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember Lawrence Glickman saying something like:

Ah, FAT BASTARDs as we call them here.

You really need a cattle truck for that.

Ah, all becomes clear. We have a visiting kook:

Some f****it pom claiming to be Steve Walker desperately attempted to bullshit its way out of its predicament and fooled absolutely no one at all, as always.

That is because unlike myself, you haven't spent nearly 20 years working in the automotive trade. Premature engine failure due to lack of servicing is not at all uncommon you ignorant f*****ad. You own statistic using an 30 year old piece of s*it is completely irrelevant in this discussion.

I can think of a British vehicle perfect for driving around without have SUV problems

Scorpion, 70mph top speed*, heavy, tough, capable of bullying any other road vehicle out of the way.

Handling a bit better than the average barge.

  • Saw a C5 programme where an owner drove to France and on the way to Dover hit the speed limit on a motorway!

Hi, I am the original poster who is a 'simple soul' who was looking for a simple answer.

Now having a nervous breakdown from the sheer complexity of 317 posts (as of

07.03.06./ 08.26 hours).

Thanks to all, expecially visiting experts like Mr Rod Speed. As my new psychiatrists asks, is this an all time record for the number of respondents to a post ?

Nowhere near.

You have to be well into the thousands.

Ask about zip-merging next time.

Please don't.....

Chris

It's what you do when you fix your fleece inside a waterproof jacket. HTH.

Alternatively it's a system of getting more cars through a road restriction in a shorter time and with less problems due to long queues approaching the retsriction.

Unfortunately it requires drivers to both think about what they are doing and let go of their egos for a bit, which seems to be beyond most of them.

Watch this thread for the people arguing for single lane sheeple-ing and you'll figure out who it's too hard for.

Crashing cars doesnt qualify, you pathetic excuse for a bullshit artist.

What is being discussed is LACK OF OIL CHANGES, you pathetic excuse for a bullshit artist.

You see f*ck all sudden engine failures due to that.

Wota wimp.

Nope, nothing like it either.

I think he was referring to zipper merging. And I'm keeping my mouth shut this time.

my car's oil cap has - use 5W30 on it, so I truck out to sam's club for oil, and low and behold there was not a drop of dino juice in 5w30.

Duh, don't try to bullshit your way out by distorting what was meant by servicing the engine in the context of this thread, liar.

The discussion isn't about sudden engine failure, but about premature engine failure caused by not changing the oil, liar.

Not changing the oil on a regular basis on a modern motor vehicle will cause premature engine failure.

Evidence to support that statement is easily verifiable, and unless you have cotton wool for brains you can't possibly argue against it.
