I don't know if you say another post I made, but I had a '95 Tercel 1.5L (same basic engine as in the Prius) with an AT, and managed 45 MPG even flogging the heck out of the car to get out of the way of F-350s....

That's OVERALL MPG!

It's been my observation that when a right winger calls someone a socialist, he means that person is to the left of him. Right wingers can't differentiate between those slightly to the right of center, middle of the roaders, those slightly to the left of center, liberals, and socialists; they just lump them all as "socialists".

But remember, I tested an '84, & had ridden in one that was a couple of years older than that. IIRC, the Tercel eventually became approximately the size that the Corolla was initially, just as the Corolla has grown & grown over the years.

I've found that on usenet, 100% of people (like Hach) who use the word "socialist" cannot explain how the people they're labeling fit into Marx's theories. One hundred percent. If you put a gun to Hach's head, handed him the Manifesto, and gave him one hour to explain himself, you would have on less bullet at the end of the hour.

And, Rush Limbaugh would have one less worshipper.
