For God's Sake...STEP ON THE ACCELERATOR!!!!!!!!!!

Really. Most of my experience with the Nut behind the Wheel in a Prius has been with women...

Sorry.

I'm actually thinking of adding the Scion to my Mom's insurance policy. It would cut it by a third.

"Hey, get a load of this! An 86 year old woman owns a Scion tC!!!!"

HAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm a Moderate, really. So when *I* say they're 'Socialists', they're more than a *LITTLE* to the left!!

One woman, a professor at Amherst College, had the town pass an ordinance that the American Flag can only be flown in Amherst 7 days before and 7 days after a holiday, becuase the flag is a symbol of oppression.

If that's not k00ky, then tell me, what is?

You need to be more observent, since you're lumping those who don't agree with you as 'right wingers'. I didn't vote for Bush, either. Matter of fact, I didn't vote for ANYBODY in the last TWO elections, cause they were ALL a bunch of flaming IDIOTS.

I think the hammer hit her squarely on the head...

Does this mean I don't get any bikini shots this summer?!?!

I can. Please move to Western Mass! Let me know how many bumper stickers you see that say "I support a Single Payer Health Care System".

Well, OF COURSE YOU DO!!!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for more. They're out there.

You have NO IDEA what it's like around here...

Methinks from this post YOU are the one who doesn't understand it.

If the pointy headed academics that ran this area had their way, we'd all be living under Big Brother's Wing.

Remember, I'm in an area with the second highest concentration of colleges per capita in the US. A good deal of them want the government cotrolling your life.

That's Socialist enough for me...

Hmmm...I also had an '83 wagon (4 door) that, once I got *IN* it was pretty comfortable, too. I actually miss that car, and it was a 6-speed, so I had to use the clutch foot, too.

Nothing to do w/insurance premiums, but... One of my neighbors, who's 80, just bought a new car. She's always impeccably dressed & coiffed (a classy, elegant woman) & has always driven very conventional (stereotypical older ladies sort of thing) cars. But this one's a Honda CR-V.

You continue to be way too optimistic. I know there's the saying "Never say never", but in this case...

I don't drive like that....with passengers. ;-)

In California, SUVs, yes. MB and Lexus, yes. Acura owners are about

50/50. But it's a rare BMW owner that drives like an idiot, though I did get behind one two or three days ago.

I thought it was a re-badged Prius.

You mean that the GOP is socialist? They're trying to control my life. They tell me who I can and can't marry. They tell me what I can or cannot do if I get pregnant. They tell me what drugs I can or cannot use for recreation. They tell me that I have to study their religion instead of science. They tell me that they'll use my tax money to pay parents to keep their children out of school so the parents can use that money to teach those children their religion instead of science.

You say that as if it were a bad thing.

Those are actually cool for SUVs, since it's really a Civic...

Why the HELL should the Government pay for Health Care?!?!?!

Yes, move to Mass. I am an Outlaw. Why? Because I DON'T have health care, and thanks to Mitt Romney, I WILL PAY!!!

Romaney may have been a Republican, but who the hell is HE to tell me what the hell I should do???

Same reason I hate Pelosi, but that has more to do with her just being a k00k. I mean, who the hell are we to tell the Japanese to apologize to anyone? She should mind her own business, or, if she can't she should do something worthwhile, like make it so fewer companies want to set up shop in China. Of course, she'd do it through a series of 'punishments' rather than Incentives. But then she can't really apply herself to anything worthwhile, can she?

And before you go throwing the "Limbaugh Speak" spell at me, I formed an opinion of Pelosi LONG before Limbaugh even hit the airwaves.

Better yet, she should use a system of incentives to bring the cost of health care down to an affordable level, like it was before it became a For-Profit industry. But she doesn't know how to accomplish this, and neither do any of the other Democrats in government right now, and the Republicans see nothing wrong with it.

How about a hospital room for $6 a day and an ER visit for $20? That's what it was in 1963 before they went For Profit.

Then we wouldn't *need* a "Single Payer Health Care System".

What else would you like to have the Government pay for you? And ask any Canadian: they pay for it in the long run, and don't get as good care as we get here.

Yeah, Socialism at it's finest. Let the Governement do it. Worked well in the Soviet Union, didn't it?

The best example I ever saw was a BMW driver in CT. There were lots of signs; Left Lane Closed, 1/4 mile. Left Lane Closed, 1500 Ft. Left Lane Closed, 1000 Ft. Left Lane Closed 500 ft. But still, this woman in a BMW plodded along in the left lane. Then the cones started. They got closer to the line, and closer, and closer, until they were right to the line. And she followed them all the way down, and then wondered why rush hour traffic wouldn't let her in.

That's just the most outstanding example. Maybe where you live Bimmer drivers have brains, but here they're brain dead...
