You mean which bees have the longest legs? ;)

Are these the same 'scientists' that were telling us cell phone caused brain tumors, a few years ago? ;)

At last you did some research, but keep looking. There were several subsequent articles on mites and queens, as the major cause of the loss of domestic bees.

RF emissions have been around for many years. Why now would RF emissions cause the bee population to become emaciated? Just give me a hint.

I don't know. Are they?

Beats me. It's not my theory. Maybe more towers than ever before? You discounted the theory. You explain. You're the expert.

I only know what I read. Do you have other information? Here's an article from National Geographic that's interesting.

Sound like the lefty kooks will be calling on Congress to investigate 'gouging' by bee keepers. We all know beekeepers have contributed heavily to the campaigns of President Bush and other Republicans. Mexican and Japanese bee keepers will be allowed to rent bees in the US and take the profit home federal tax free. The House will likely pass a bill to give federal aid to poor farmers to rent bees, to be paid for by a 'temporary 20% tax on honey. ;)

Then we have the problem of the Africanized bees who envelop normal bee hives, ah, er in the SouthWest. They actually kill regular bees, those dirty little buggers.

BTW, could you specify the name of "The head of some beekeeper's organization in AZ said", so we can look it up to verify your truthfullness.

I hope they don't tax MY honey Mike, or I will really get upset, LOL.

If somebody does not know the answer, what sense does it make to ask it again? ;)

I wonder, speculate, they were imported from China? China bees?

Another idea, perhaps the bees finally realized they have rights too and freedoms. So they decided to fly the coup, set out on their own and make a new life for themselves. :)

I never claimed to be an "expert" as you say.

I cannot fathom an explaination why RF emissions would cause bees to disappear, especially after all these years. Cell phone sites emit small amouts of radiation compared with AM and FM broadcast transmitters, not to mention radar sites and other emissions, which have been around since the 1920's. Which BTW is just now reaching Zeta Leporis. :)

How do bees navigate?

Are there more cell phone towers, or more AM/FM towers?

GPS. I thought everybody knew that.

Yes, but it is the concentrated RF emissions, antenna gain plus power output of the transmitter that determines the field intensity. Commercial broadcast stations, radar stations have the highest concentrated RF emissions, not cell sites.

The beekeepers open their hives, to find few to no bees instead of a thriving hive. No bees' bodies in sight. They have no idea where they are - dead or alive.

That was a former/different scenario - a known one.
