I agree, but when is he giving up flying his hair stylinst from LA to the East coast for a hair cut?

That little fugger.. he has some nerve telling people how to live when he lives like a pig.

No, that won't happen. But, a real president would be correct to remind people that we need to put an end to the SUV marketing stupidity, and not let stupid advertising determine our choices.

In message news: snipped-for-privacy@comcast.dca.giganews.com, dbu` sprach forth the following:

Starting with John Kerry? Oh, excuse me, "John Kerry's Family"? Cough cough.

I watched an interview in which Edwards was asked the following two questions, and was requested to respond if the items being discussed were "rights" or "privileges".

Q: Health care? A: A right.

Q: Handgun ownershipo? A: A privilege.

And he said both with a straight face and no hesitation.

Edwards has no chance, so I just laff at him.

IF he had a chance, I'd be working VERY hard to make damned sure he did not win!

How would you work very hard to do that?

There aren't too many SUV's. There just aren't enough people that know how to drive them.

One of the first things the Cons did when Caligula was selected was pass tax breaks that encouraged SUV ownership.

Yeah. I *think* those were shaved or eliminated, though. Too embarrassing.

THAT I agree with!!!!!!!!!!

That's pretty much true of any vehicle. It is FAR too easy to get, and keep, a driver's license.

Interesting quote:

"It's hard to explain. Sometimes when I hear people talking about Iraq and what we should do and what it's like over there, I want to shout at them: "You don't have a clue. You know nothing." And when I see these people driving these big, huge cars with a ribbon slapped on the bumper, it makes me mad. I just want to say, what are you thinking?"

What's so interesting about it?

Reply to

Because I'll bet you think those ribbons on cars are just ducky.

First, you have to know the meaning of 'work'. Do you?
